From Beginners to Podium

We’re incredibly proud to share an exciting milestone in the journey of our young players at XMMBridge.

A group of students who began their bridge journey with us in 2024, starting from a completely blank sheet, have come a long way in a short span of time. Today, they have been selected to represent Singapore in the Under-16 national team, a remarkable achievement that reflects their dedication and growth.

The team recently participated in the CJC Inter-College Tournament, facing off against 10 teams made up of junior college (JC) students. Despite the competitive field, our U16 squad demonstrated composure, resilience, and impressive card sense well beyond their years.

Round after round, they held their ground, competing confidently and showing just how much they have developed since their early days in the beginners’ course. Their efforts culminated in an outstanding 2nd place finish, an achievement that speaks volumes about their hard work and commitment.

This result is more than just a podium finish. It is a testament to how far these players have come, from complete beginners in 2024 to national representatives making their mark in a strong tournament field.

At XMMBridge, we have always believed in building strong fundamentals and nurturing young talent. Seeing our students grow from their very first lessons into confident competitors is deeply rewarding for both coaches and the wider bridge community.
