XMMBridge’s Summer Tour!

It’s been an action-packed summer for XMMBridge! Over the past three months, our squad traveled across Asia to compete in three international tournaments:

  • May: Ganesha Bridge Open Tournament 2026 (Bandung, Indonesia 🇮🇩)
  • June: Straits Cup / 海峡杯 2026 (Xiamen, China 🇨🇳)
  • July: Round Robin Teams 2026 (Seoul, South Korea 🇰🇷)

May — Bandung (Ganesha Bridge Open)

Our 3-month run kicked off in the cooler climes of Bandung. Going up against strong regional opponents gave the team a fast-paced start to the tour and set a great rhythm for the events to follow.

June — Xiamen (Straits Cup / 海峡杯)

Moving into June, we traveled to Xiamen to test ourselves against seasoned international players. Navigating long, competitive sessions required focus and composure from start to finish.

July — Seoul (Round Robin Teams)

We wrapped up the summer in South Korea with an intense schedule of round-robin matches. Staying steady through non-stop play paid off—xmmbridge finished 3rd overall, bringing home a commendable podium spot to cap off the tour!

Experience & Growth

Beyond the results, spending three straight months competing on the international stage made for a deeply enriching experience.

  • Steep Learning Curve: Facing different playing styles across three countries pushed everyone to adapt quickly and think on their feet, leading to noticeable improvement after every match.
  • Stronger Partnerships: Traveling, preparing, and competing together over three consecutive months naturally built better trust and communication within our pairs.
  • Great Memories: From post-match debriefs over local food to exploring Bandung, Xiamen, and Seoul between sessions, the trip was as enjoyable as it was educational.

We come back with valuable hands-on experience, stronger team chemistry, and a clear view of where we can take our game next! 🃏🔥
